If hired, fees are, deducted from the cost of your

requested service. Otherwise, the fee is nonrefundable.

*Additional fees required for Doula Services involving travel beyond 50 miles and

overnight stays. Payment options are available, however, all services must be

paid-in-full prior to “the event”. Customers requesting payment options will be

required to complete a financial disclosure to determine a payment plan.

Additional Services Offered “Sleepy Time Services” Overnight In-Home Sitting Services This service allows the caregivers to get a full night’s sleep while FBCS cares for your baby. It will also include light cleaning and limited laundry. Offered 10 pm - 8 am (Fees may vary based on the baby’s needs, multiple births, etc. Care is provided for your newborn(s) only). 

“Too Busy to Cook Meals” FBCS will provide pre-cooked meals for new parents to alleviate your new caregiving duties and allow you to spend more precious time with your baby. Meal choices may vary based on the available menu at the time of booking. 

“Followup Appointments Support” FBCS is available to assist you in accessing postnatal appointments and provide support as needed during the appointments. This is limited to 2 trips within a 30-day period, and for no more than 2 passengers in addition to the newborn(s).

● Vaginal birth: Averages about $14,768 in total health care spending before insurance.

● Cesarean section (C-section): Averages about $26,280 due to surgery, extra staff, and operating room fees.

● Hospital vs. Alternative settings: Traditional hospital stays carry the highest facility fees, while birth centers average around $8,303, and home births average about $4,650. 

Associated Care Stages

● Prenatal care: Includes routine doctor visits, blood tests, and ultrasounds spanning across the months leading up to birth.

● Postpartum and newborn care: Average health care spending for a newborn is around $5,820, plus out-of-pocket costs for mother and baby checkups after delivery.

● Additional support: Optional care like a birth doula typically adds $1,000 to $3,000.
